A little history...

...And a lot of spirit!

The Rampage's presence in senior men's hockey play was preceded by the Prince Rupert King's hockey club, which played its last game in what was then known as the Pacific Northwest Hockey League (PNWHL) back in the early 1980's.

After the departure of the Kings from the league, Prince Rupert was without a familiar Saturday night ritual of excitement and community spirit. Some real bona-fide hometown heroes were developed during the King's reign. The city longed for the days of great hockey that the Kings had brought to town until, in early 2008, a group of key individuals dedicated themselves to making the team's re-entry into this level of competitive hockey a reality.

We are very thankful indeed for the hard work these people put into building this team. We are also very thankful to the people that are still hanging in there today - people who donate their spare time and resources on a year-round basis - helping to make each successive season a better one than the last.

Our Level Of Success
